SmackDown vs Raw 2010

If memory serves right, a birthday gift which was originally intended to be for christmas(?) was SmackDown vs Raw 2010. What was particular about this Title was the nature of its involvement in my catalogue. I hadn't yet owned a wrestling game for the XBOX 360 and I had completely forgotten about keeping up with the series. Despite having an intimate relationship with the console, I still felt too burnt out by SpiderMan 3's release and I didn't have much say in those days about what to get. In fact, it was moreso maximizing any enjoyment I could muster about a certain topic and staying "in my lane" though there wasn't an enforcement of any type in terms of what I liked. I simply liked what I could and did so without retaliation. My family wouldn't say no. They'd just ignore you. As if you were talking to yourself. I considered their untrustworthy behavior to be taking with extreme precaution, yet the outlier throughout all of this was, well, my grandmother. She was the one to get a hold of SmackDown vs Raw 2010. Despite not knowing that it was a title I had only kept up with during my years as a PlayStation fan, she bridged that gap. None of my other family members would dare care, but I accepted the gift with a not so subtle immature response. I may have even tried to negotiate with my grandmother explaining how I was a bit too old to like wrestling. Nonetheless, I played the hell out of the title and enjoyed drawing comparisons to previous titles. I had grown out of replicating the events and cringy emo create-a-characters that all looked like Dante from Devil May Cry. So I played it. Got annoyed when I tried the online portion of the game. Some dude spammed his create-a-character with repetative kicks. I invited him to an XBOX LIVE party and I distinctly remember his tone of voice. He didn't judge me. He just kicked my ass. A friend of his joined the lobby and they commented on the unique characteristic of being invited to a "party" without a mic. I got enfuriaritngly angry with his tactics-I almost turned red like in a cartoon. And I couldn't speak back. So I just left. Leaving him and his friend to his devices. I may have even rage quit. I wanted a fair bout but I got a crappy game for my birthday.
